Since opening its doors in 1971, Lehigh Career & Technical Institute, formerly Lehigh County Vocational-Technical School, has earned a reputation as one of the finest secondary career training and academically sound schools in the nation. As the largest vocational school in Pennsylvania, Lehigh Career & Technical Institute offers Lehigh County students over 40 areas of study including specialty programs and opportunities for certification within specific fields of study. Students can earn up to 30 free college credits toward an Associate's Degree at Lehigh Carbon Community College (LCCC) and much more!

LCTI has improved its mission and goals. New career choices in our curricula have been added, and programs such as our Accelerated Career Education System (ACES) have been expanded and continue to grow.

We at Lehigh Career & Technical Institute are continually looking toward the future. We plan to implement more programs, due to extensive building expansion and modernization, which will provide additional career choices for Lehigh County high school students.
