LCTI INTEGRATION WORKSHOPS (TECH PREP)

The Lehigh Career & Technical Institute is once again offering Integration Workshops for math, science, language arts, and vocational teachers. This is possible through our Tech Prep Grant and the Lehigh County Career Pathways Steering Committee. The workshops will consist of six evenings in February and March where we will learn about applied instructional strategies, discuss the impact of standards, and develop best practices for the integration of academics and vocational subjects. This year, in addition to generating integration activities, we will be looking at purchasing course materials as part of your participation. The materials you purchase would be used to implement various integration activities in your classroom.

SCHOOL-TO-CAREER

Through optional programs, the School-To-Career office counselors take a student's educational path and bolster it with opportunities that can earn them free college credits, paid on-the-job experience, internship experience and connections to businesses through job shadowing and guest speakers.
