Skills Certifications | Flex Program Admissions Information
The programs offered at Lehigh Career & Technical Institute are part of the curricula of each sending high school and are open to all students successfully completing 9th or 10th grades and adult students wishing to further their skills education. High school students who enroll are required to take academic subjects and physical education classes at their sending schools. Diplomas are awarded by the sending school districts upon graduation. Students who successfully meet the standards at Lehigh Career & Technical Institute receive a certificate of completion at our annual Senior Recognition Evening. Senior Recognition Evening is Tuesday, May 25, 2004 at 7:00 p.m. Adult Education students can also earn their certification upon completion of their program. Cost - Lehigh Career & Technical Institute is supported by the sending school districts. Therefore, there is no tuition cost to high school age students. Adult students are charged on a per course basis. Additionally, some areas of study require both high school and adult students to purchase safety equipment, tools or uniforms. How to Apply - In order to attend LCTI, students must have successfully completed 9th or 10th grades or received a GED to participate in the Adult & Continuing Education programs. LCTI provides educational services for 10th through 12th grades with the exception of specialized programs. High school students interested
in attending LCTI should consult their high school guidance counselors and adult students should contact the Adult & Continuing Education Department at 610-799-1372
for enrollment procedures. They will have LCTI curriculum books on hand, which will provide more information
regarding the programs offered as well as an application form. LCTI reviews all applications, the student
educational records and then considers the student's potential for
